Additional Information

factured between 1986 and 1992, only 301 units were ever produced. Champion Motors International is pleased to offer this extremely rare 1989 LM002 for sale. With just two owners from new, both with long term ownership, it was driven 36,179 miles (58,226 km). As the only military vehicle produced by Lamborghini in 1979, it was designed for the oil and gas exploration industry. The "Cheetah" was powered by a rear mounted Chrysler V8 engine. The LM001 was an off-road prototype based on the Cheetah powered by a rear mounted 189 horsepower V8 built by AMC. Based on this design, it tested poorly, the frame was scrapped and it was redesigned into a front engine with the V12 Countach engine and called the LM002. Civilian models were outfitted with a full luxury package including full leather trim, a tilt steering wheel and air conditioning. We have a fairly extensive list of known service history performed at a local specialty shop. Here is an opportunity to own a sought after icon from the 80's. *While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this information, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions contained on these pages.
